This 1 day program is intended for operators who have taken a chlorine handler course and are looking to update their skills. Delivered in our interactive facility, this session provides hands on practice primarily dealing with chlorine gas systems with a focus on the safe handling techniques, equipment and emergency procedures.

• Review of chlorination calculations
• Relationship between chlorine dosage, demand and residual 
• Residual measurements
• Review of Work Safe BC handbook
• Review use of repair kits A and B
• Choice of respirators
• Written procedures for tank changeover
• Topics suggested by attendees

• Perform tank hook-up
• Perform leak control using repair kits

• Trouble shoot gas chlorinator malfunctions
