Virtual Online Classroom
MTS is excited to offer some of our courses online and we welcome you to our online virtual classrooms.
MTS has selected the LearnCube platform to deliver the online learning, an award winning virtual classroom software for interactive online education (www.learncube.com).
To facilitate this online environment, we require you to provide your email address that you have access to on the computer that you will be using for the online course. We will be emailing you the student link that you will use to join the class.
Please read the following information to ensure you will have the necessary and compatible equipment. Also be sure to download and review the attached “Student Guide” which will enable you to become familiar with the LearnCube platform.
Class duration will run the usual 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with two 15 minute breaks and a half hour for lunch.
Please have the following equipment available and in good working condition prior to the online class.
One of the following compatible computers:
- Windows PC
- Android Tablet (can be utilized but a computer is recommended for quality)
- iOS iPad (can be utilized but a computer is recommended for quality)
One of the following compatible browsers:
- Internet Explorer Edge
- Safari (iOS)
- Microphone and speakers (incorporated in most modern computers). Headset is preferable for better quality
- Web camera on the computer (optional)
- Access to reliable internet (wired or WiFi)
- Pen & paper
- Basic calculator (where applicable)
- Course reference manual (where applicable)
- MTS manual/booklet and handouts
