Water Quality Sampling

Designed for people responsible for taking water samples and operators whose duties include sampling. This 1 day program provides a thorough coverage of the procedures for microbiological sampling and analysis, as well as a basic introduction to chemical, biological and other water quality parameter sampling.

Hypo Chlorination & Pump Labs

This course covers the theory and science of sodium and calcium hypo chlorination and designed for water system operators responsible for disinfection utilizing hypochlorite’s and operating hypo chlorinators. Topics: types of hypochlorite’s; importance of disinfection and monitoring process; chlorination concepts; safety and handling practices, basic math refresher and hands on lab time with the pumps.

Topics & Objectives include theory of disinfection and chlorination, basic math, sampling lab, principles of hypo chlorination, concentration and dosing calculations, working with pump components, tearing down pumps, hypo chlorination systems, hypo chlorinator lab, safety, handling and troubleshooting hypo chlorinators, calibration lab.
