Facility Assessment Survey Technology (FAST)

MTS has developed the FAST program to provide field surveyors with a paperless, on-site data collection and summary compilation process utilizing a Palm-based handheld system. Developed by the founder of MTS to enhance our ability to deliver clear and consistent third party facility assessment data to our customers, FAST is a product of over 15 years of cross-connection experience combined with proven and user-friendly technology. This system eliminates the duplication of resources such as repetitive writing or transcribing field notes and will provide an increase in available time of at least 1 hour per day on average. When you're done at the customer's, you're done the report. Upon completion of the daily assessments, and once back in your office, a user friendly download to the desktop PC select and print process will provide the customer's summary reports within minutes. FAST then provides the tools to manage your entire backflow prevention program including customer correspondence and communications as well as backflow assembly inventories and testing history.

Utility Management System (UtiliTrak)

UtiliTrak is a comprehensive utility management system designed to provide utility operators the ability to record and manage daily tasks as they are completed, utilizing a Palm-based platform. The handhelds are complemented by a user-friendly desktop suite providing office staff the access to field data collected and the ability to generate reports to meet the ever-increasing demands for maintenance records and formal reporting of asset condition.

UtiliTrak provides routine daily journals, fixed asset inventory and maintenance management for hydrants, valves, pumps, as well as development tools such as an Emergency Response Plan generator, confined space inventory surveys, sidewalk assessments, and final inspection tools for water and sewer services. Additionally, UtiliTrak is expandable and customizable to meet your specific utility needs.

Considering GIS mapping, all inventoried assets such as valves, hydrants, PRV stations, etc. have provisional fields for mapping coordinates. As an option, UtiliTrak can be delivered on handhelds with built-in GPS receivers. Have an existing GIS system? UtiliTrak has an open protocol which can be mapped to many of the existing GIS Programs.

MTS Template Editor (MTS TE)

MTS has developed a template editor (MTS TE) to provide utilities with a simple method for creating, maintaining and updating documents such as the Maintenance Management Plans, Emergency Response Plans, and Cross Connection Control Program manuals. The Template Editor provides a user-friendly platform for managing various types of documents.
